The Women’s Chamber has announced its 2017 Giraffe Awards Nominees. The Giraffe Awards will take place on March 30 at the Kravis Center.

The Giraffe Awards will take place on March 30 at the Kravis Center to recognize women in Palm Beach County who have Stuck Their Necks Out for other women in the community. Now in its 22nd year, the Chamber celebration begins with a Kick-Off Networking Mixer at the Chesterfield Hotel Palm Beach on March 2 at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Women History Month Proclamation in the Commission Chambers on March 14 at 9:00 a.m. An invitation-only VIP Reception will take place at the beautiful Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens at 5:30 p.m., on March 16, and closing out the month is the Giraffe Awards Luncheon on March 30 at 11:00 a.m., where celebrate exceptional women in our community, says Chamber President Heather Gray.

The Chamber is pleased to announce that Emmy Award-Winning TV news veteran, Toni May, is the event emcee, and Alyson Seligman, President of the SBS Agency, is the event speaker. The 2016 Giraffe Award winners included Dr. Jean Wihbey of Palm Beach State College; Kalinthia Dillard of the Palm Beach Office of the Inspector General; Mona Reis of the Presidential Women’s Center, and Suzanne Turner of the YWCA of Palm Beach County.
