Skyline Ready For Next Generation Of Canada Trade Shows, Hires Service Center Operations Supervisor

Canada is experiencing a surge of business and educational trade show conferences. Skyline is prepared to meet the growing need for exhibits and show services.

Online PR News – 05-September-2016 – In recent years, Canada has experienced significant growth in the business events sector, particularly in private business educational conferences. With nine offices throughout the Canada, Skyline Canada is prepared to meet the growing needs of hosting local organizations and out-of-town exhibitors with trade show displays, rental exhibits, creative design, Full-service installation and dismantle services, and Trade show education for new exhibitors.

To further improve customer experience, Skyline Exhibits recently hired Lorne Ho as the new Service Center Operations Supervisor in the Toronto Service Center. Lorne has been with Skyline Toronto since 2002, first as a Service Manager and then as a Project Manager. In his new role, Lorne will be responsible for supervising employees and for operations within the service center. He will also perform “hands-on” production and service duties as needed to ensure superior service.

“Lorne was the natural choice for this new role. Throughout his years working for Skyline, he has acquired extensive experience in trade show project and labor management, exhibit building, customer service, and Skyline clients just love working with him. With the tremendous growth we’re seeing in Canada trade shows, it was important to hire a supervisor with vision and enthusiasm to grow the company, and Lorne is that guy,” said Sofia Troutman, Customer Engagement and Industry Relations Manager, Skyline Exhibits (www.skyline.com).

Lorne and his team will be busy in the coming months as several large events descend on the Toronto area, including:

Innovate + Ignite: 2016 Conference and Matchmaker – September 29, 2016 at the AllStream Centre in Toronto. This annual B2B event hosted by WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) Canada is a networking opportunity for women business owners.

Connected+ Toronto 2016 – October 12-13, 2016 at the Arcadian Court in Simpson Tower. C+ is an Internet of Things event that connects businesses within the connected smart home technology, enterprises and consumer devices.

GBTA Conference 2017 – May 23-25 in Toronto. The Global Business Travel Association events allow travel managers to see the latest innovations in business travel while networking and attending educational sessions.
